In honour of Black History Month!

15th Oct 2019 | By Leicester Services Partnership

Black History Month
October provides an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the contributions that people of African and Caribbean backgrounds have made over many generations.

In addition to events planned by the University and the Students’ Union, we will also be having a pop up stall in the Square of the Percy Gee Building, selling Caribbean food in honour of Black History Month.

The theme for this year is Archiving the Past, Reflecting the Future and we will hopefully honour this through our Caribbean food from our pop up stall.

The pop up stall will be available on Thursday 17th and Thursday 24th October from 11.30am – 2.30pm.
